We are a small, family run, working farm in the beautiful Ashworth Valley in Rochdale.
We moved in to the farm in the Summer of 2015. That summer the rebuild began.
We are very proud of the changes that we have made and how the business has grown and developed over the past three years.
It all started with the rebuild of the existing stables and improvements to the livery yard. The improved arena was the next transformation as well as developing the land in order to meet the needs of the livestock that were being introduced.
The first animals to be introduced were a small herd of British Lop pigs. This is where our interest in the conservation of rare and native breeds began. Lincolnshire Longwool and Hebredian Sheep followed and more recently, three Dexter heifers.
Alongside the Rare Breeds there the pygmy goats and a variety of ducks, hens and bantams.
Earlier this year Blossom and Nikki, our two alpacas, joined us. They have been a wonderful addition to the farm and we aim to introduce more in the spring.
