British Lop Pigs
We love our lops!!
They are a smaller pig than commercial breeds. They are friendly pigs who love nothing more than to play in water and have their tummies rubbed.
Sadly the British Lop pig is the second rarest breed of British pig and is listed as endangered by the Rare Breeds Survival Trust
Pygmy Goats
Wilbur is one of our pygmy goats. He and Benji were the first to join us and have been to lots of places with us. They have been a very cheeky addition to the farm, roaming around the farm looking for mischief!!. At various times of the year we have young kids from our breeding pair Elvis and Goldie.
Lincolnshire Longwool Sheep
We have a variety of sheep on the farm. Each year we take in orphaned lambs from our neighbours to bottle feed. We also have been adding to the rare breed collection with our Lincolnshire Longwool rams Larry and Curly and six ewes. We look forward to curly lambs in the Spring
Dexters
Millie, Molly and Mandy are our three Dexter heifers. They are one of the UK's smallest cattle and originally come from Ireland. We are looking forward to seeing their calves in the Spring.
Alpacas
Blossom and Nikki Tikki are our two alpacas. They are shy, gentle girls with huge eyes that captivate all those who meet them.
THE ANIMALS
Ducks and hens
The ducks are never happier than when they are in the muddy puddles or in the stream. There are always a variety of ducks and hens to be seen around the yard. Eggs can be found in unusual places throughout the farm.
